Day 69, Day 70: Oh Yes, I Confirmed I have Definitly Gotten Over You.
Woke up on Sat feeling funny. Got some Newspaper cut, stick to House MD the rest of the day, Played basketball at night.
Woke up today early at 9.45am. Woke up had breakfast and went to the House of the Lord. Today in the Church was a blessed pastor which came all the way from Adelaide Australia to preach with us. He is Pastor Ashley Evans and OH what a sermon he preach and what words he reveal and how powerful those words were. I am now ready to Break through in Jesus name.
He mentioned about Authority and Intimidation. Those were powerful words. The First part was about Authority and how when Jesus died on the cross, we were given all the Authority to rule and that with Authority, we can influence people, our close friends, our enemies and even strangers. What sets Jesus apart was his Authority. When he spoked he exudes Authority. Not only is he the Authority, he can give authority like he gave to his disciples when he wanted them to spread the message of God and heal people. As he can give to others so did he give to you when he died on the cross to rid us of our sins such that we are righteous in God's eye and we are nearer to him and such that we have his Authority to break through not only what the devil has for us but for our own lifes too.
Then he spoke about embracing this Authority and how the devil works to banish this Authority from you. There are two ways he can do it. He can make your Authority appear less then it is or make you believe that there is no Authority at all. He spoke about how Initimidation often results in Compromise. He mentioned something about the people in the Bible when One King is going to take over a city and the people cowered and forced into the corner said to let them go and they shall be his Servants and with which he said that if they are willing to give him their Right eye then he will spare their lives. Thats compromise. But they know now that as they give their right eyes, they are not able to attack and strike out for themselves because people back them use their left shield to protect their cover their head (Including left eye) and use their right swords to lash out. So when they lost their right eye they are left with no more vision to hit back at the enemy. Not only that they also lost their ability to defend. Why is that since they are still able to hold up their shield. Because they can see what they are defending with. They have to lower their shield to see the enemy and that is why the enemy had an opportunity to strike out and hit them little by little.
There is also something Significant with the right eye, that is the ability to judge time, speed and distance. If you lose an eye, your ability to judge these things are affecting. Same thing when you lose your visions, you lose God's timing and things and wonders for you. This is how important your eye is and how it can help to see and identify God's timing for you.
Well well... Im getting excited typing all these... Then he spoke about how the devil can make you believe that you have no authority or you have no rights to take these authority and break through in your life. He gave a simple metaphor.
There was once a man that was taking a walk in a forest. There was tents put up and little children running around and a campfire right in the middle. He then noticed a huge elephant with chains held onto a small log. He was mad, this was dangerous. This Elephant could easily break the chains and trample around killing everyone. He approached the master of the beast and confronted him. The master said "No way he wont do that. I have chained him to that log since he was a baby and when he was little, he tried hard to break the log but failed everytime. Now, he no longers tries to get away and thats how Im certain he wont break the chains."
This analogy is like us. When we were just starting out, we didnt have Christ in our lives. We were little and we tried all ways by our own efforts to break free and hit breakthroughs. When we believed in Christ, though we have inherited his goodness, though we have inherited his power and his will and his words, we still are held onto the chains of the past. We are the grown Elephants my beloved, we can breakthrough and Jesus gave us the power to do so two thousands years ago when he died for our sins.
Thank you so Much God. All praise to you.
